Fletch's Cove
Inspired by examples of contemporary Mexican architecture, this one bedroom
villa has been designed with an eye to breathtaking vistas and comfortable,
casual living, both indoors and out. Whether enjoying a meal, lounging on
a sofa or lying in bed, stunning views of the ocean and surrounding islands
are ever present. In a matter of seconds the Living and Dining Rooms can be
completely opened to the Terrace simply by retracting a set folding doors.
Just as easily, they can be closed again should a sudden shower appear.
Ceiling fans in every room and carefully placed louvered windows which take
advantage of the prevailing easterly winds ensure your comfort.
Decor
The decor is decidedly rustic, combining Saltillo tile floors with rough
plastered walls, heavy wood beams, Mexican pottery and furnishings hand
crafted from Asian hardwoods.
The air conditioned Master Bedroom suite, with its solid
oak floors, occupies the entire second level. French glass doors open onto
a large balcony, ideal for lounging, sunbathing or, in the evening, taking in
the lights of St. Martin.
Enjoy your favorite dish in the comfortable surroundings
of the Dining Room or on the Terrace. A fully equipped Kitchen will accommodate
the most discerning chef.
Environment
Situated just 60 ft. from a small secluded beach you are never more than a few
steps away from a refreshing dip. A barrier reef, about a mile off shore,
protects the area from large waves and creates an eco-system rich in marine
life. If surf and sand are not your preference take a swim in the 33 ft.
lap pool followed by a tanning session on the Terrace.
Although centrally located and not far from many popular
beaches and restaurants Fletch's Cove is set in quiet, private surroundings.
The sound of surf, wind and the occasional Zenaida (turtle dove) are likely
to be your only disturbances.
